Our Educational Director, Ms. Jessica is certified in Early Childhood Education. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her Masters in Special Education. Ms. Jessica is our Reggio Emilia and Preschool expert. She is very experienced, passionate, and committed to supporting our staff in providing the best care possible. Ms. Jessica strongly believes in creating meaningful partnerships with families and the community. She loves loose parts, process art, and works to support our staff in fostering a love for learning through hands-on child-led curriculum.
Our Education Director, Ms. KaYee (Ka–Yee) has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and holds a New York State teaching license for Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2). She was a 3K teacher for 7 years. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the understanding that every child enters the classroom with a unique background, learning style, and way of processing information. She believes that in order for meaningful learning to occur, a child’s individual needs must first be recognized and supported. As an educator committed to being well-rounded and responsive, she strives to create inclusive, nurturing environments where young learners feel safe, valued, and ready to grow. This is why she is passionate about focusing on early elementary education, an essential foundation for lifelong learning.
Our Education Director Ms. Flor has a bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education and a double Masters in Special Education and Multilingual Studies. Ms. Flor has many years of experience teaching young children. She sees children as unique individuals who will one day be our future. She brings with her a strong knowledge and experience of Reggio- inspired practices and process art. She strongly believes in child- centered project-based learning, modeling, and play.
